the Prestige Beauty Company

A night in London nearly always involves something special, and this party for a prestigious, global beauty brand, was certainly no exception.

Design f9 was hired by Transform Venue Ltd to visualise their designs for the event. Transform Ltd was tasked with overseeing a drastic overhaul of the Old Billingsgate hospitality and events venue in London.

The beauty brand concerned had hit their sales target for the year and so wanted to celebrate in style, and what style! Transform Venue Ltd wanted the transformation of Old Billingsgate to reflect the brand identities that this particular client is renowned for.

Final designs included a mixture of the bold, elegant, classy and above all else fun. Design f9 had an amazing time visualising the designs.

A party to remember!

The celebration was the most impressive undertaken to date, and it was an opportunity for them to really give their guests a genuinely unique experience that they would never be able to forget.

One of the main points that the design teams wanted to hit was a sense of prestige. This was achieved by making excellent use of different elements. The whole project was simply huge, and it truly reflected the ambition and scale of the client company.

Each floor of Old Billingsgate for instance showcased a different brand, and each was designed with its own unique vision and style.

British electronic music group Clean Bandit were brought in to perform on the main stage, bringing their own unique presence to the party.

Old Billingsgate makes for an amazing venue.

The grand hall of Old Billingsgate, formerly a market, is 2610 square meters of some truly astonishing, historic architecture. Working with Limelight Lighting and Branchout Productions Ltd, something spectacular was created.

Classic décor is made truly classic when the colour palette used is based on timeless gold and white touches. This colour palette worked especially well with the brand because it reflected their core following.

Several clusters of circular, gold chandeliers were suspended from the roof, creating a warm and natural glow. Creating a beautiful focal point were two enormous wisteria trees.

Designing the vaults

Designing the vaults for the celebration was nothing short of a blast. Transforms design director Michelle Clayton, used her own distinctive interpretation of the trends of that particular summer. She used this and exhibited a contemporary and bold look that totally transformed the venue.

Hand-painted, neon animals were installed against colourful and geometric backdrops, while at the same time vivid lighting reflected off the amazing décor. The contrasting industrial of the venue helped to create dramatic colours and added to the overall ambience. This particular area was designed to reflect the colourful and bold aesthetic that the smaller brands of the client are famous for.

Adding to the overall look and style of the place, a local graffiti artist was brought in that painted a mural in the gallery, live and to the amazement of the guests.

The overall 3D visualisations were a genuine pleasure to work on, and we are proud of the work that we were able to do and bring to proceedings.
